From our living room...

Today was not how I had planned. I wanted to finish putting out the Christmas decorations, work on my to-do list, and marvel at my productivity. Instead, I didn't get much sleep last night and wasn't feeling too great most of the day. I got home from church, ate lunch, relaxed on the couch, took a two-hour nap, and didn't want to do much of anything.

I felt better after dinner, so I was able to accomplish at least a couple things today. I'm just not ready for Monday—I need more weekend. Most people like the weekend because they can relax. I like the weekend because my day job doesn't get in the way of the work I actually want/need to do. I'm crazy like that.

There was one highlight to the evening, and that was listening to Craig Lyons perform online tonight—right from our living room. Remember our friend, Craig, who moved to California? Since Dan is a part of Craig's Paperbird Project, he joined Second Life to support and check out the performances. Is all of this Greek to you? Me, too. Anyway, one of my favorite songs by him is called Change, and he played it for me (and the rest of the audience) tonight. Exciting!

Here's a screen shot that Dan took of Craig's performance. That's actually Dan standing on the left, with the paper bird over his shoulder. He's just adorable as an avatar... ha.
